Lucretia is a romantic tragedy. Ever since she has been tied to her soul-mate it has been one tragedy after another as they are destined to always reincarnate with one another. There are times they have suicided instead of being killed by others, times they have killed other lovers in order to be with each other. They've tried to rise in society and move things but have failed due to their obsessiveness. There are times they've sadly had to kill one another for mercy or whatever fated reason but it's never gotten in the way of their love for each other. These are the events that have shaped her and made her align with the despair and the shadows, manipulating them to be helpful rather than hold her down. In this life she hopes they can move past all obstacles and succeed.

Since reincarnating in Detroit she's made peace with these shadows. Not all the darkness is bad, but a good thing to reconcile. She's learned to manipulate these shadows to work in her favor, they empower her. She ran from her parents as soon as she was old enough at 16 and began to sell hand crafted jewelry and stuffed animals on the internet. She also spent much of her time reading book after book from the library. She had enough money to help pay towards staying in a loft above a house for a while. When she turned 21 an inheritance came to her with a note. An apology from that lover that had killed her in her last life, waiting for her to re-spawn yet again. Not knowing what to do with such a large amount of money she found herself an old house in the city and tucked the rest away in the bank for now.

It was a sundial she had created in the past, whose shadow points towards wherever the other is so that they can find each other in each life, that led Syrus back to her. With a wary but lovetorn heart she let him back into her life, accepting his apology. Though she lives in worry of what may happen to them this time she plans to do her best in order to allow the best possible outcome. To rise above the darkness of the past and work together towards something they can both succeed in. Hopefully without too much misery along the way.
