Ben/Introduction

Ben Markov is the president of the Carson Youth Center, on Detroit's crime-ridden East Side. Mr. Markov has a reputation as something of a recluse. His phone calls are often directed to his brother Stan (the center's chief financial and public affairs officer), who also takes most of Ben's appointments.
