Kippling Llewellyn a.k.a. 1/2 DJ Jacked In-the-Box Kip was named after one of his mother's favourite authors. Kip got beat up as a kid as a result. Words can indirectly hurt when you're named after literary figures. Ow! It wasn't too bad. He was a local and eventually got over his strange youth and all was good. His brother ran away in 2003 or something and the family fell apart. He lived with his Aunt Linda and went to Farmington High. Chrysalized and barely graduated because who can focus after that!? He loved his music and people and loved nothing more than being an entertainer. Met up with his roomie Jason with the Theare Bizarre group and combined their natural talents to do what can only be described as 'some really cool shit!' Life's been exciting. I mean sure... things are hard, but it only seems to put him in a better mood. When challenged people have the opportunity to do great things. That's pretty damn awesome. He and Jason use their music media fame to constantly try new things which keeps the underground club and alternate lifestyle scene pretty happy. A good chunk of his time otherwise is spent guiding people with event ideas, charity projects, and getting that cook's phone number from the Ram's Horn Diner around the corner. Hooks Music - He & the roomie roommate make up the Electronica DJ duo Jacked In-the-Box (Fame 1) Theatre Bizzare - Some want to run away and join the circus. Well we didn't have one so we helped build one, or continuing to build it. Everyone's BFF - Goddamn this sunnovabitch is likable. There's just something about him, even if ya wanna slap him, it takes an effort not to just like the guy. He's a natural social chameleon that just has doors keep opening for him. Host w/the Most - Some might argue he doesn't host the show but is the show; like an amusement elemental gone haywire. This world is his party and he's inviting everyone to celebrate them. Recovering optimist - They meet on the third Friday of every month... no really. Like some box-clad muse he's totally there to encourage other people to try something new and add a little excitement to their day. Neighbourhood Watcher - Not to fight crime. He's a lover, not a fighter. He donates a lot of his time helping people develop social support programs, youth outreach, and awareness for local charities. Got a project? Need a promoter to help make it fly? Need someone to host a thing? God his dream would be to host a telethon but he's been told you can't swear and be on public broadcasting. Hrmm... that one is in the air. Natural Hub - He travels a lot in the underground entertainment industry. Interested in joining Theatre Bizarre? Get involved with Detroit Fire Guild doing shows? Burlesque arts? The myriad oddity convention circuit? Chances are he knows you or you at least know of him and he knows the people you need to get in touch with.
