Overview
Requiem for Love

Lucretia is a romantic tragedy. The product of hundreds of past lives spent where her and her lover have killed each other back and forth over and over again. Whether it be for vengeance or the fact that it just had to be done for some reason or another. It's made her sick with despair, angry and bitter, cold and callous, yet in this life she wants to feel it all. From blocking out all feeling in the past she feels the need to feel everything good or painful. It's all alive to her. Love is a disease, a corruption, an inescapable fate and she wants to know why.

Since reincarnating in Detroit she's made peace with the shadows. Not all the darkness is bad, but a good thing. She's learned to manipulate these shadows to work in her favor, they empower her. She ran from her parents as soon as she was old enough and took up a job in a library where she could mostly sit and read whatever she desired all day long. It was enough to rent a room in a loft for a while. When she turned 21 an inheritance came to her with a note. An apology from that lover that had killed her in her last life, waiting for her to re spawn yet again. Not knowing what to do with such a large amount of money she found herself an old house in the city and tucked the rest away in the bank for now.

It was a sundial she had created in the past, whose shadow points towards wherever the other is so that they can find each other in each life, that led Syrus back to her. With wary eyes and heart she let him back once again. Fighting the urge to stab him on spot, though something in her is different than before. She can't bring herself to act against him, to repeat the cycle. For why is it always repeating in the first place? It is both hate and love that drives her.

Lucretia has always been a creator and she's imbued her creations with magic and little tricks to help out here and there. Her primary focus in this life is crafting jewelry and stuffed animals that she sells online. With Syrus back at her side she's ready to face the city and whatever it has to offer.

She's got a very independent attitude. She can handle her own shit and yet much doesn't really seem to phase her. She welcomes all experiences good and bad because they must be for a reason and she wants to feel all of it. She's sort of a longer, she's strange, but easily passes as someone who just likes to dress in the Nu Goth style and drink her coffee. She likes to solve problems and often invites people in who need to talk so she can soak up their sorrowful stories and maybe offer a bit of hope. Secretly, she feels that she deserves pain and torment. She know's she's messed up in the past and she's doing her best to make up for it and not go down the same path of vengeance.
