Introduction

“We must dissent from the indifference. We must dissent from the apathy. We must dissent from the fear, the hatred and the mistrust. We must dissent because America can do better, because America has no choice but to do better.”
– Thurgood Marshall

“I don't favor violence. If we could bring about recognition and respect of our people by peaceful means, well and good. Everybody would like to reach his objectives peacefully. But I'm also a realist. The only people in this country who are asked to be nonviolent are black people.”
– el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, "Malcolm X"

Contacts
Maya - Not how I would ordinarily introduce myself... But we are going to have a lot of fun if we ever get done saving the world.

Marissa - But if you close your eyes does it almost feel like nothing's changed at all?

Shadi - If you feel so empty, so used up, so let down...

Aite - I don't know what to make of you yet. Nice hair, though.

Alexandra - We will probably discover we like eachother in spite of ourselves.

RP Hooks
  • Riley is covered in tattoos. Beatitudes written in Latin on her biceps, a quote from the Qur'an on her collar bone in Arabic. More tattoos run down her shoulders, abdomen, sides, thighs and legs. The stylized script is quite distinctive. She also has a section of her hair that is purple.
  • Riley... is deeply respectful of and curious about modern religions. She could be found in any place of faith that is open to the public.
  • Riley also doesn't appear to exist. Her apartment isn't on any official papers and most of her documents have long since gone missing. Riley can still get her passport documents, but only just. If you notice her this might seem odd.
  • Mage. Riley is a skilled manipulator of Matter and a very competent caster. It just takes a quick scan to notice something is amiss with her aura.
  • Street Justice. Riley believes in it. The police keep letting justice slip through the cracks and Riley intends to see to it that there are real consequences for these actions. She also won't hesitate to take care of someone if ends up being necessary.

Disclaimer
Riley is a self-motivated ideologue and zealot. She doesn't prefer violence but the ends absolutely justify her means when the ends are the salvation of Mankind- and, in the immediate feature, her city of Detroit. There are lines Riley will not cross but she has yet to find the need to confront them. She doesn't give up or give in and she absolutely believes that the government has abandoned Detroit and it is up to the people to retake their city by by any means necessary.

You have been warned.
