He's friendly, handsome, and there's something a little dangerous about him: this turns some people on, this pisses some people off. He makes friends. He makes not-friends. Yet, his life as a human is shallow and plain, because he's never really understood what it is to be human. He tries, though. But he is not one: he is a werespider, an Ananasi. He is a predator, a hunter, a warrior in the name of his Great Uncle the Wyld. Here, in Detroit, he is an oddity: in a land so deeply in the grips of the Weaver's webs that it is suffocating, a spider comes... not to lay more webs, but to undo them? To bring change? Impossible: everyone knows the werespiders are servants of the Corrupter. Or perhaps not all things that look alike are the same. Who doesn't remember the War of Rage? They still think of us as Wyrm-tainted, despite the fact that Spider was a child of Grandmother Weaver. They don't understand us: that's good, because no one should understand us. But its useful if people would get around to misunderstanding us a little less, you know? Less is more. He has a drivers license that would fool an average bouncer, and a car that's more lived in then most houses, but there's no paper attached to either, and no life before his arrival. If anyone really pays attention, his life is so thin it doesn't pass even a simple inspection as anything real. Yet what does that mean? He's poor, and yet, he shows up almost anywhere there is no fee for entry-- and even then, sometimes he gets in, and is just there. There's literally nowhere he might not be, no matter how strange. Spiders are everywhere. He's curious, he's curious about everything: all the things. Name a thing, he's curious about it, and will approach you. Supernatural Bradin is an Ananasi, calling himself Steps Among Dew. He is Kar, a Warrior of the Wyld, fighting against the insanity of both the Weaver and the Wyrm. He knows much that is mystical, and when he communes with his Mother-Queen, he knows even more. What he doesn't know, he's curious about. Its a shiny thing to be noticed. He is of the Arachnid breed, which means he began his life non-human: he has a great curiosity for non-human thought and for those things impersonating humanity, but with other origins.
