Cadillac Place, a National Historic Landmark and originally the world headquarters of General Motors, is now occupied by the State of Michigan government offices. The Detroit St. Regis Hotel is directly across from there. The Fisher Building, a National Historic Landmark, is considered an Art Deco masterpiece, and also sits in the New Center.
