History of a man...

Detroit, MI: Castle was born in Detroit, on December 1st, 1972. His father was a respected and educated man named Alonzo Castle. Lincoln's mother died during child birth, but her name was Mary. Lincoln's father was Detroit Police officer, as were his uncles, and paternal grandfather. In fact Lincoln's great grandfather was one of the first black men to wear a Detective's shield in city of Detroit.

Seminary school: It was asumed that Castle would become a cop, but he surprised everyone and ended up in Seminary school, following the footsteps of his maternal grandfather John, a Catholic priest.

Education: Castle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theology and religious studies from the University of Detroit Mercy. After his graduation he received permission from his diocesan bishop to join the United States Army.

United States Army: Castle’s first tour was in Djibouti, on the Horn of Africa, as a Catholic Chaplin for the 75th Ranger Regiment. He ended up in the Battle of Mogadishu, where Somali militia and armed civilian fighters shot down two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. It was the first time he was forced to take a life. After Africa, Lincoln ended up in Bosnia. He was there as part of a Military Security Force, dispatched to the area as peacekeepers. He witnessed firsthand the genocide committed by Serbian forces. It tested his faith, and it changed him. When he returned home to Detroit Lincoln didn't undergo the Rite of Ordination to become a priest. He’d seen too much war. He’d done too much in the name of it. Among the decorations accumulated during his service were the Distinguished Service Cross the Silver Star, and the Purple Heart. He left the United States Army with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer, according to his service record.

Detroit Police Department: Following his career in the Army, Castle went through the DPD academy and graduated from cadet to Patrolman. As a patrol officer in the street crimes unit Castle did well. In 2002 he made corporal and began active duty with the DPD SWAT unit. Castle received a bravery award during Operation: CRACKDOWN during which Castle shot and killed a suspect. Later that December, Castle was moved to the Narcotics unit as a Detective grade 3. Castle did very well and received four special commendations, in addition to achieving the highest arrest record for any officer in the unit, 22 percent higher than any other officer. He also suffered three injuries in the line of duty. The last of these was a knife wound sustained to the right hand. In October of 2004 Castle made Detective grade 2 and was assigned to the sex crimes unit. He was extremely effective within the sex crimes unit. In the bible, this is the name of a duke of Edom. It was determined during that investigation that Castle had a knack for investigating occult matters. What they didn't know was after Bosnia, Castle had integrated himself into the Detroit occultist community. Armed with the knowledge that true evil existed, he began to learn perhaps the most ubiquitous among legendary sorcery. The ability to bind and control various natural and supernatural entities.
